(Self) Love is in the Air

I just made the most amazing basket into the recycling bin, from my computer chair. HUZZAH!!!

I also stocked back up on chili supplies. Cornbread and blue corn tortilla chips this time. Really looking forward to that, once the chili is made.

In the meantime I also got myself a discounted sandwich and a caffeinated Sparkling Ice to have for lunch.

I may hit the pavement for a walk. It’s ridiculously nice out. Like early spring. So much so everyone’s driving maniacally. HA!

Well, my second shot at the recycling bin whiffed. Alas.

BUT… as I said, it is a gorgeous day outside. Tomorrow we’re expecting oodles of snow, starting before sunup. I have off, thankfully, and I now have groceries. And the way I make chili, it should last me a few days. Plus, I got burger patties.

I did have a rather unsettling dream just before the alarm went off (too early… remembered I needed to reset it then drifted off to sleep before doing so)… but I’m pretty much over it now. So yeah, it’s shaping up to be a good day, I think.

I also finished Season 2 of Elite last night. SO GOOD!!! I’m glad I finally got over my mental block about some of the relationship drama making me angry and just watched it anyway. I’m still hoping one particular couple will find a way to make things work. But we will see!!!

Got some garbage to take out and chili and burgers to make. Nothing else really on the agenda. I suppose I could tackle more of the kitchen cabinet clean out? We’ll see where the day takes me.

Some creating of some kind beyond cooking also sounds like a good idea. It’s been a bit since I wrote or drew or painted or what have you.

Above, you see some of the chocolate covered strawberries I got myself as an early Valentine’s present. I also got some $5 sushi that day, and a very tasty pizza. And I danced around my kitchen while I did the dishes. Making progress.
