My Paranormal Rockstar Romance Novella, Smoke & Crows, is now available for pre-order for Kindle. It’s releasing on Friday, October 13th. Spooky, I know!
Maybe it’s Dark Romance? The supernatural themes definitely get a bit dark, especially as you delve further into the story. For the curious, I included trigger warnings in the book description, on Amazon, and in the front matter of the book, itself, along with a note from me, AND a PLAYLIST!!!
I picked a lot of cover songs, with a few originals. The covers definitely push the envelope, and add a certain Spooky Season ambience.
The playlist is a reference for what the band Smoke & Crows might sound like, and how the overall vibe of the story as a whole, felt to me while writing it.
Some of the songs and artists in the playlist are referenced within the novella, but many are not. Conversely, there are artists I discuss who don’t appear in the playlist. I was mainly trying to channel Nyven Ash, with a smattering of our female main character, Acacia.
Every song on the playlist is available on Spotify. I also made a beefier version of it there, but this condensed list feels more like an album to me. What do you think?
