WELL!!! I made a fresh graphic of more recent adventures. My existing desktop wallpaper one is PRETTY full! I did a lot this summer so far.

More recently, I browsed Stein’s and picked up potting soil and pots for a couple of my lil plant babies. I voted. I started solo-walking again, and got a cute selfie of me standing on a walking bridge amidst a small woods (even if my hair was frizzed).

I went to a Turkish seafood restaurant with a friend, called Istanbul, then browsed the thrift store next door, where I picked up a necklace and a book (yes, another book LOL). The book was about incorporating your shadow aspect, from the perspective of Jungian psychology.

I browsed 5 Below with my mom after having gone out to dinner, and saw some very cute things there and snapped some photos of them (one was a trinket box that looks like a croissant, which immediately reminded me of the crossiant/quaso meme).

I nipped over to the west side alone more than once for books and chocolate.

It wasn’t a solo adventure on this occasion, but I had a Grand Day Out the day we went to Stein’s (my mom and myself). I was exhausted but didn’t want to give up on the day. She offered to go with and just ride along.

I got new shoes, some earrings (one pair of which matches the thrift store necklace find), chocolate from my fave chocolatier (YUM!), then the plant stuff at Stein’s. Then we stopped at Subway, and tried the new roll-up things, and I got a footlong churro.

Later on, I think I went to the grocery store.

Treated myself to a poke bowl from the grocery store a few times this summer, too, as a healthy treat, or sushi if the poke bowls were sold out.

And my various solo dates for boba or a big-ass burger.

Went to Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters. Hadn’t been to the theater in a VERY very long time.

TODAY there’s an event at a local indie bookstore that I might attend, as well as another Night Market, like the one I went to with my daughter when she visited. If I’m up to it, I could do both!!! The bookstore event is all about the romance genre, both reading and writing.

Not my photo below… something from Canva…but I did walk past a delightful batch of planted wildflowers in the front yard of one of my parents’ neighbors yesterday, and it was buzzing with happy bees. This pic reminded me of that.

Sending all the love!
