Lookie what I found after I made my tacos!!! THERE’S A VIDEO!!! It’s been out a while. I’m late to the party. But that’s okay. Gatekeeping is uncool.

Meanwhile, my avocados were still in a great mood and more than cooperative.

Since I was cooking the beef shaved steak from frozen this time, it was a little trickier. I had to slice into it over and over to break it up, while it was still pretty solid, then stir it around into its shaved bites.
I think all the ice crystals on the meat added to the liquid in the sauce, but the tacos I had tonight were still really good. I just had to drain off some of the extra liquid from my plate. I didn’t get any photos of the tacos, though I took one of the skillet as it was all cooking. Kitchen smells pretty tasty again!!! I may share the skillet pic tomorrow, or maybe instead take a pic of tacos. Planning on breakfast tacos.
I also really want to poke at a couple neglected painting projects, but I think it’s a bit late to get into all of that, especially since I have to get up kinda early. So maybe my motivational image is a shade ironic, since I am presently WISHING I had the time and energy to paint. But I can, tomorrow, after work.
At least today, I had fun playing with my collages, and listening to music.
AND we picked up THE CAR!!!
Made myself a note in a text conversation addressed to myself, about a change I want to make in Mystery Train. I haven’t been doing as much of that lately, either, but I suppose I should cut myself at least a little slack. I was writing nightly or almost so, for a fairly long stretch there. And I did at least tinker with it last night, before I stopped and got into bed to read a little and fall asleep.
Anyway I just wanted to share happy avocados and Sleep Token, and a small bit of motivation. I look forward to having some fresh finished art to share for the first time in a LONG time! Since before Valentine’s Day.
ALSO… Tomorrow is Pansexuality Visibiity Day.
Actually, my time, it starts in about twenty minutes.
SO… for all you pans out there… I accept bi+ as an umbrella term that includes us both but also understand labels can have personal, connotative meanings. Sending you all the love.
Nothing wrong with anyone choosing to identify as pan, instead of bi, or anything else.
Technically, I suppose I actually would be pan by the general definition, but the word didn’t exist when I came out. Or if it did, it wasn’t very widely used. Definitely wasn’t on MY radar. So, I stick with bi. It feels right.
Anyway, y’all do you, whatever that looks like. Do no harm, but take no $h!t.

I think I made that one for New Year’s Eve or so? Inspired by something a friend had posted. I’ve riffed off her comments and content a few times. She inspires me greatly. But then, I would say a lot of my friends often do. I’ve got plenty of good ones.
