Need a lift?

I definitely did.

So, I made that collage.

Started out just picking out the one image, for this post, then had nipped onto Facebook, to re-share all the Big Tex action pics, because they made me so happy yesterday. THEN I noticed I hadn’t updated my cover image since Pride!!! Not that I can’t be proud year round, but I like keeping it fresh. So… the collage!

Gotta get dressed, and pick up groceries, so I’m equipped to spend time at home, and ideally, do some tidying up around here. Also hungry. Didn’t go too hard on breakfast. Because le tired.

BUT my appointment with my nurse practitioner went really well. She said she could tell just by my FACE that I had lost more weight, which was super encouraging to hear. Me, on the other hand, I looked at the angle of that pic of me and my mom walking yesterday and kinda cringed, feeling like my face is still so ROUND.

It depends on the pic, though. It’s more defined in other recent photos. And I did have that day I was playing with Snapchat filters and thought they were all thinning out my face, until I realized some of them may have done that a little, but that my face was thinner than I remembered, to begin with.

Well, anyway.

The stuffs I impulse-bought yesterday should arrive Monday and Tuesday. I say “impulse” but I actually spent A LOT of time browsing, and debating, then even more, trying to work out the discounts. Spending money that could have been saved, but maybe just maybe investing in my and kitty’s happiness here and there, is okay, too.

I also got an email about a festive new spin on an existing Starbucks drink, that I guess is limited time only. Lil treat? Maybe…

I’m hoping to pretty things up, for when kiddo comes back.
